Takako Nomi is an Assistant Professor of education at St. Louis University and a Consortium research affiliate. Her recent studies have examined the effect of a series of curricular reforms, the policy mechanisms, their unintended consequences, and the long-term impacts on post-high school outcomes. She is also on a research team studying the effects of summer algebra credit recovery through online versus face-to-face approaches. She holds a PhD in educational theory and policy from Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests include educational stratification, education policy, and quantitative research methodology.
