As of May 2025, Jess is the Communications Lead at the Kersten Institute for Urban Education. She continues to collaborate on Consortium projects, including Family Playbooks and external communications. Jess began her career working with high school students in schools and programs in Boston and Chicago, and supporting young people's personal, academic, and professional development will always be one of her passions. She is also a mom of two Chicago Public Schools students.
