A new report shows slight progress in the rate at which Chicago Public Schools' students obtain a four-year college degree within 10 years of starting high school, although the percentage of ninth-graders projected to complete a traditional college program remains low.

The report from the University of Chicago's Consortium on School Research also found the largest increases in high school graduation rates were at schools other than charter and selective-enrollment schools.
