A new report out Tuesday provides a detailed view of safety at Chicago Public Schools. University of Chicago researchers wanted to know what contributes to a student or teacher’s sense of safety in the school. A big factor that "Student and Teacher Safety in Chicago Public Schools: The Roles of Community Context and School Social Organization" points to is the relationships going on inside school walls.
