Little people go to big apple

In its ongoing effort to pilfer ideas from Chicago, New York City may soon get its own version of the Consortium on School Reform, according to NYC education blogger Joe Williams (A Serious Outside Look At Reality).  The details are few, and as we all know the Consortium is a lovely but imperfect beast -- under-used in many schools, ignored in the face of political imperatives, etc.  But it's being treated as a very big deal in NYC, and perhaps the Big Apple's version of the little people studies will help over all...
