Jessica Puller is the Communications Specialist for the UChicago Consortium. In this position, she is responsible for various internal and external communications tasks, including social media management, tracking influence metrics, and editing. Additionally, she serves as a research assistant on an investigation of arts education and social-emotional learning. Prior to joining the UChicago Consortium, Puller worked as a freelance copy editor and playwright. She has been an ensemble member of the Piccolo Theatre since 2010.
Puller has a BS in theatre and an MS in elementary education, both from Northwestern University. She is an award-winning member of the American Alliance for Theatre and Education and a two-time winner of the Beverly Hills Theatre Guild Marilyn Hall Play Competition for Youth Theatre. Her play, WOMEN WHO WEAVE, is published by Playscripts, Inc. Her debute middle grade novel, CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE, is published by Disney Hyperion.
