The UChicago Consortium seeks a Research Scientist to lead quantitative research and evaluation studies inform policy and practice in the Chicago Public Schools. The UChicago Consortium is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in teaching and learning, elementary education, or post-secondary education. A successful Research Scientist candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading research projects, with a quality body of work. They will demonstrate expertise with advanced quantitative research methods and be able to communicate complex ideas to a wide variety of audiences. They will work with local educational policymakers, school administrators and practitioners, funders, and other researchers. This person should demonstrate the skills necessary to become a leader in the organization.
