Ryan Heath is a doctoral student in the School of Social Service Administration (SSA) at the University of Chicago and an IES Predoctoral Research Fellow. Ryan received his BS from Brown University and his MA in clinical social work from the University of Chicago. Previously, Ryan facilitated a number of school and community-based youth development and experiential education programs. Prior to UChicago Consortium, Ryan participated in research projects related to LGBT youth, school experience, extracurricular programs, and digital storytelling. His research interests focus on youth development programs, out-of-school time, and adolescent/young adult outcomes. He is currently working on the UChicago Consortium project Toward a Coherent Framework for Noncognitive Outcomes.
